What is Cannabidiol?
It’s CBD! Cannabidiol is what CBD is short for – and is one of over 150 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant.
Cannabinoids are compounds found in specific plants, and naturally produced within our bodies! Cannabinoids interact with the Endocannabinoid System in our bodies.
Phytocannabinoids are produced by plants.
Endocannabinoids are found naturally in the human body.
What is Cannabidiol Oil?
We use sustainable extraction and purification processes to extract the cannabidiol compound from organic hemp, grown on our family farms.
It is then mixed with a carrier oil for better absorption, added benefits, and is our longest lasting product.
What is HEMP OIL?
Hemp oil may come from hemp seeds, which contain no CBD or cannabinoids, or from the hemp plant, which may contain CBD and other cannabinoids.
These CBD or cannabinoids are the compounds that possess the healing properties associated with hemp, but is extracted from the leaves.
It is easy to see how hemp oil (sometimes referred to as “hemp seed oil”) and CBD oil can be easily confused.
The reason why Hemp or Hemp oil is marketed as a natural remedy is that Google and other social media platforms do not allow the marketing of the word CBD or cannabinoids due to the negative stigma attached to it by marijuana.
The main components of hemp seed oils were shown to contain omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, Gamma Linolenic acid (GLA), as well as nutritious antioxidants.
The primary use of Hemp seed oil in the CBD world is it is an excellent carrier oil for CBD that is extracted from the leaves of the hemp plant.

What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?
Marijuana contains high amounts of the psychoactive compound known as THC. Hemp must contain less than 0.2% THC. Unlike marijuana, hemp does not cause a psychoactive effect.
What does cbd do and how does our Body react?
Cannabidiol is a non-psychoactive compound that interacts naturally with the human body’s endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for maintaining and harmonizing total body homeostasis(stable, equilibrium).
Interestingly, our bodies also produce cannabinoids through our Endocannabinoid System (ECS). Our ECS acts as a “control panel” for our bodies and supports/maintains homeostasis, which is our body’s optimal state of balance between all of its systems. The ECS also regulates various important bodily internal systems that are important for optimum maintenance.
When cannabinoids from plants (phytocannabinoids) enter the body, they interact with our ECS receptors in the same way our internal cannabinoids do.
What is the Endocannabinoid System (ECS)?
This is a major body system found in all types of animals, just like your nervous system or digestive system.
The function of the ECS is to find and maintain balance. The ECS is like a computer’s motherboard: it communicates with and regulates all other systems, so your body can be in homeostasis (the body’s optimal balanced state).
How do I use CBD oil?
Most customers start out using 1-2 full droppers daily, holding under the tongue for 30-60 seconds before swallowing.
CBD has a cumulative effect so it is important to take consistently.
Everybody processes CBD differently, so you will need to play around with serving size, frequency, and time of day to see what is best for you.
WHAT ARE THE METHODS OF CBD USE?
CBD (and other phytocannabinoids) can be introduced into the body in various forms such as inhalation, by mouth or through the skin.
Tinctures (Oils) contain droppers to measure the ml amount of CBD to take sublingually which is fast absorbing and high bio-availability as the capillaries under the tongue lead directly to the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. You can also take it with food and drink. It is easy to use and allows for flexible dosing. Please see Dosage calculator to give an indicaiton of how much to take based on your body weight.
Topicals (Creams/Balms) are formulated with pure CBD isolate or organic hemp extract, essential oils and other beneficial ingredients that will allow the CBD to enter through your skin. This allows targetting specific areas that cause pain, discomfort and sore muscles. Useful for maintaining and hydrating your skin. Does not enter the bloodstream and is absorbed into skin and surrounding tissue and muscles.
What is the best way to store Pure Spectrum products?
Store upright in a cabinet that is dark, cool, and dry. Avoid touching the dropper directly to your mouth. Pure Spectrum products have a shelf life of one year, if stored properly
What is CBD Isolate and how do I use it?
99.9% Pure CBD Isolate is the purest form of CBD, and our fastest acting product. It comes in a white crystalline powder and is most effectively absorbed by holding under the tongue before swallowing. It can also be added to food or drink!
What is BROAD SPECTRUM?
Broad spectrum CBD is the middle ground option between isolate and full spectrum CBD. It begins as a full spectrum oil, with the full range of beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes, but it then goes through a refinement process to remove all THC compounds.
Many CBD business advertise Broad Spectrum CBD oils but if you carefully analyze their lab tests you will notice it is only trace amounts of the other cannabinoids CBG,CBN, CBC etc. The reason for this is that the CBN is another psychoactive compound which is illegal in the UK. Thus Full & Broad Spectrum CBD Oils are illegal in the UK according to Food Standard Agency UK.
